December Loot Crate: Anniversary!!

Hello Everyone,

Forgive me for not posting this sooner, i had wrapped all the presents and started this blog and then never finished.  I thought i had but, seeing as there was no post i must have closed and forgot to save.  This months box was supposed to be the biggest, size wise, and boy did they deliver.  Everything in this crate i absolutely adored, especially the funko pop loot crate exclusive.


Item 1: Captain America Air Freshner

This is a classy way to make your car fresh.  I'm replacing the megaman one i got in one of the other boxes with this one, its a vanilla scent.

Item 2: EXCLUSIVE Dancing Groot Crew Socks.

I believe these are supposed to be a loot crate exclusive as well.  I was not sure on that so i went flipping threw the loot crate magazine that comes with every box, and flipped to the funko pop loot crate exclusive.  In front of that it also said exclusive so im guessing it is.  These socks are pretty cool looking, and i love my character/print socks.  I Can't wait to wear these socks, sadly i have not yet and i don't know why.

Item 3: Tetris Sticker Set.

This sticker set includes 147 puffy stickers in the shape of tetris pieces.  I'm not sure on what i want to do with the stickers yet, on the package it shows people making hearts and phrases with the tetris piece and that looks super cool.

Item 4: Exclusive Ghostbuster door hanger

It's been 30 years sense this movie came out, and loot crate gave a little something for the fan of ghostbusters with this door hanger.  I'm thinking not everyone got the same phrases on there door hanger, because the one pictured in the magazine, but i could be wrong.  On mine one side says "back off man i'm a scientist!" and the other side says, " Are you the keymaster?"  I hung that up right away.

Item 5:  Simpsons Cast Mighty Wallet.

At first glance i did not know that this was a wallet, i was taking pictures of everything when i opened the box and thought that it was just a poster folded into a square to save space.  I just happened to start looking at everything more throughly when i discovered upon taking it out of its plastic sleeve, that it was indeed a wallet.  It seems like a pretty well make wallet, i looked at the little sheet inserts inside the wallet pockets and discovered that this wallet is tear and water resistant.  This wallet expands as you fill it, it has 2 money pockets, 2 credit card pockets, and 2 business card pockets, and after 1 year of use it expands like any well loved wallet. Quite cool.

Item 6: Exclusive The Joker Batman-Batman POP! Vinyl Figure.

I was super excited when i opened the box and saw this.  I collect batman stuff and this will go well on top of my entertainment center with my other batman funko pop figure, my loot crate exclusive groot, and my daryl dixon.  I love these little funko pop figures and am super excited when  get one.  i dont know what else to say about this except that it is absolutely amazing.

Item 7: Exclusive Batman Comic Book Issue 36

This one has an exclusive loot crate cover.  The cover art was done by Greg Capullo.  I haven't opened the plastic on this.  Don't know if i will, Don't know if i want to.

Overall i'm head over heels for the December box.  Great lot of items came, well worth the 20 bux i spend a month on loot crate

i still have 2 month of the ipsy bag to review, but ill get to it when i get to it, i've had alot going on and i wouldn't want to bore anyone with it.

November Loot Crate : BATTLE!!!!

hello everyone,

im kinda behind here when it comes to my ipsy and loot crate, with work and the holidays, it can make it hard to keep up. I'm so excited about December's loot crate, it just got here today so im going to do this post, wrap some Christmas presents, and do December's crate. Honestly i was a tad bit disappointed with this box, and so far i've loved every crate I've gotten, but lets move on shall we.

item 1: Pirates vs Ninja shirt

Who doesn't love a little pirates vs ninja action, i know i do. its a mash up of a pirate and ninja with the use of words. It's quite cool.

Item 2: Assassin's Creed Unity Coin w/velvet pouch

this coin here was a loot crate exclusive.  On one side of the coin theres an empty spot to get your name engraved...if you want to go that far....i dont think that i would but others might, and thats a cool little extra on the coin.

Item 3: Mega Man Mini Helmet

I got the red helmet. you get the helmet and a stand....i believe this was another loot crate exclusive, per what the little magazine said.

Item 4: Halo Drop Ship Mini Figure.

This i was excited about. I collect these little halo figures and was excited to add another to my collection. there is not really to much to say about it, either way i love it.

Item 5: Street Fighter headband

This is the one item i really didnt care for, so i dont have much to say about it.


as always there was a few things for some digital loot, the little loot crate magazine, and the pin commemorating this months theme.  I'm probably going to get rid of most of the items in the November box.

Up next will be the December Loot Crate anniversary box. SO EXCITE!!!! then i will hopefully catch up on my ipsy glam bag and maybe have some knitting stuff to report on.

October loot crate: Fear!

I was super excited about this box because of the walking dead items. I love the walking dead, so this was a no brainer for me.

Item 1: death by kitten shirt.

This shirt has adorable kittens all over it, they are arranged into a skull pattern. I've worn it once and it's just awesome. I've been satisfied with every shirt I've gotten from loot crate.

Item 2: toxic waste candy

I havent tried this item,  but I do like sour candy. Win win

Item 3: sledgesaw hammer pen

This pen is so awesome! It's light weight, black ink, and the saw part is the pens cap. It writes smoothly, and is all around unique. This was a loot crate exclusive.

Item 4: how to survive a sharknado book.

I have not read the book yet, but I did flip through it and it looks very interesting and I cant wait to read it. It looks like a little survival guide for weird disasters, like the sharknado, bataclysm, boaricane, and more.

Item 5: oh brother art print by jsalvador

When i saw this print I was super excited.  I love the walking dead,  and daryl is my favorite character,  so this makes a nice item to add to my collection.  I'd eventually like to buy a frame to put it in and hang it up next to my gaming area.

Item 6: the walking dead issue 132

This issue had a loot crate exclusive cover. I have not read yet but I will.

Item 7: slashes and bites tattoos

Cool little temporary tattoos,.

Item 8:  smite giftcard

I dont know what this really is, but im not going to use it. Ill have to find someone who will

And as always,  the pin that commemorating this month's box and loot crate magazine was inside, the magazine cover was 3d so 3d glasses were included.  This month I also got a loot crate offical member card with my looter number on it, so kinda cool.

Im working on writing the post for November's box that had a halo item inside.

September lootcrate: Galactic

Hello everyone,

Sorry about the delay of September's lootcrate, I do already have October, so I can wait to get them both up.

I wouldn't say I was disappointed with this box, it had good items in it, but I was not familiar with the firefly show. I am happy with October's box so that made up for it. Lets go with the contents shall we?

Star trek tribble exclusive looter edition.

This little guy is cute and soft and definitely the highlight of the box. When I saw this guy in there I immediately opened it to play around with it. I eventually gave this to my friend whom is  huge trekkie, I know she will take good care of him.

Alien action figure.

I wasnt over the moon about this.  Its pretty cool, but I probably wont keep it. Not much else to say about it.

Firefly "mal" exclusive action figure.

I've never watched firefly so I really don't know what to say about this figure. Its made by funko, I do have one of the walking dead mystery minis, as well as their daryl dixon pop figure, the lootcrate exclusive groot pop figure from the heros box,and batman pop figure. I like the way they design the figures in the mystery minis and pop collections. I will definitely buy more without a doubt.

Firefly bank robbery money.

I got nothing.

Star wars exclusive retro arcade magnet.

I always love the magnets in these boxes, this one especially.  I love the retro style of this magnet,  takes you back to those arcade classics like space invaders and asteroids.

Star wars poster 9 x 27

Hans solo encased In carbonite, need I say more. Pretty cool, just need to find a place to hang it.

Pop rocks candy.

It speaks for itself.

Bonus digital loot.

A digital code for dark horse comics halo escalation comics.  I have not used it yet, but its supposed to "give you your first taste" of the comic. I'm a halo fan so I will check it out.

As always there was a pin commemorating this box, and I do plan on keeping that.

Comming up is October's box, which had some real cool stuff inside.

Waffle blanket update.

This update is long over due, this I do know.  I've been so busy with work and blogging about my subscription boxes, that I just didn't make any progress for some time.  My new goal was to do at least one row on it everyday, which I have, and I have made some progress. I unconsciously made a few mistakes that made themselves known when I decided to look at how my work was comming along, I would have fixed them if I hadn't knitted a few rows after them.  I'll include pictures in the post of how the work is going on the blanket and a link to the pattern I've been using so you can try it to. I'm determined to finish this blanket it will be my first one that I have not unraveled because it wasn't comming along fast enough or I terribly messed up.
